Product information

Our flagship Supershelf shelving is a zinc-finish steel shelving system trusted by some of the world's most recognisable brands for stockrooms and wider industrial storage applications. Its solid steel construction ensures the unit is strong and durable, while the modularity of the system offers endless flexibility - allowing for shelving, garment hanging, small component storage and much more, all within a single bay.

Key features at a glance

  • Easily adjustable shelves on 33mm pitch
  • Bolt-free assembly - the bays simply slot together with ease
  • Smooth zinc finish looks great and is easy to clean
  • Starter and add-on bays available, with between four and eight shelf levels
  • Weight limit per shelf level is between 150kg and 500kg, depending on configuration
  • Available in heights up to 5m

The Supershelf shelving system features bolt-free assembly, which helps to ensure a quick and hassle-free installation process - letting you get back to what matters most to your business or institution. What’s more, the system can change and grow with your organisation, giving you the adaptability you need to remain competitive. Shelves and modules can all be adjusted to accommodate seasonal or general stock changes, too, and a choice of starter or add-on bays mean your storage facilities can be extended with little hassle.

Products in our Supershelf range work perfectly as a retail store shelving solution, with their expandability and modularity scaling easily to any challenge on the shop floor. In the stockroom, modular shelves like these can provide a comprehensive storage solution for garments, shoe boxes, small components and more.

On top of this, steel shelving is simple to maintain and keep clean, and won’t collect dust, unlike chipboard. Thinner steel panels can also be manoeuvred more easily than chipboard while cleaning or adjusting your shelving configuration - making this a highly versatile and reliable all-around metal shelving solution.

Supershelf metal shelving bays are available online in two heights - 2000mm and 2500mm (custom heights are also available on request - please call for details) - as well as five depths and four shelf widths (shortspan - 900mm and 1200mm and longspan 1500mm and 1800mm).

Please add 110mm for the overall width of the starter bay and 10mm for the overall width of each add-on bay.

Our Supershelf systems are built to last - but to give you complete peace of mind, they’re also subject to a two-year warranty.

The warranty covers the workmanship of the shelving, alongside any damage that was not caused by exceeding the weight limit on the shelves or as a result of any other improper use.

To make sure your Supershelf system remains fully functional, we strongly advise having it inspected every six months to identify any signs of deterioration.

Are the shelves adjustable? and can I buy extra shelves?

photo of Grace Manwaring

Yes the shelves are adjustable on a 33mm pitch. There are lugs on the upright beams every 33mm and these slide into corresponding clips on the horizontal support beams. Of course you can get extra shelves, just give us a call - we prefer to discuss extra shelves with you as they can affect the weight loadings of the system.

Can I load these shelves with a forklift truck?

photo of Alex Giles

No, the SuperShelf system is designed to be hand loaded.

Can I join different lengths of shelving bays together?

photo of Tom Brialey

Yes, the system is designed exactly for this purpose. But be careful as you cannot join bays of different depths.
